Bev has completed a diploma course in medical hypnosis in 1989 which
provided the full appreciation and skills of both medical hypnosis and stage
hypnosis. He has successfully used this to help people, lose weight, stop
smoking, pass exams, re-sit driving tests, relax and generally have a better
quality of life.
Totally separate from the medical side and owing to the interest in
entertaining, successfully developed a comedy hypnosis show which has been
presented all over the world. At one show in The Gambia 2 journalists from
the Gambian observer who had been sent to do a report on the show, left
after 15 minutes believing they were witnessing tribal black magic. At a
show
in Ireland Bev actually noticed one volunteer who had a medical condition as
a result of a road accident, whilst under hypnosis, was moving quite
uninhibited. He spoke to the volunteer after the show and then to the
volunteers GP. As a result the volunteer managed to regain a significant
amount of limb movement having been referred to a clinical hypnotist.
The stage shows are a tremendous success and good clean entertainment. One
thing Bev is very strict about is the moral issues surrounding hypnosis. He
is quite happy that his show has been presented in front of families,
children and respected members of the clergy. His act is scrupulously clean
and will remain as such.
Bev is available for both Medical Hypnosis consultancy and stage hypnosis,
however owing to the controversy surrounding Hypnosis, he will not
advertise these options.
